Happy new year to you!!! Yall look like your really enjoying showing the kids around. I wias looking online for the spindle technique that an Ethopian friend showed me 20 + years ago where I actually spun yarn from Husky fir. Turns out its called a drop spindle.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrZcr7_qXFY super easy to use and make yarn. Hows the weather down there. Looks to be sunny and warm form your photos?Eric
Happy New Year! Really enjoying following your adventures.
Thanks Eric and Chris!Eric Lori has a friend here who has one of the spindles and they are spinning with Lori today. Also yes it is in the 70s here and it may get up to the high 80s but not much more. It is sweater weather at night. We have been dry here for the past 3 weeks. With the wind blowing here it has really dried up fast, but we have had some rain over the past 3 days and it is expected to continue for the next 3 days.Happy new year Y'all from the real south!Jim
You all look great! Thanks for sharing your adventure via the blogspot. Tell Emily if she needs help with that underwater basket weaving class, I can help her out (at least with the basket weaving part!). May you all have a blessed 2014!Bill
